Suffocate or Integrate: It's the Difference Between Failure and Success
10x Traction Wellness specialize in Career Integrated Wellness. What we do is help companies make more money by focusing on the productivity of their human machines.
I’ve experienced two different paths in working with different businesses. The choice is for a business to suffocate wellness with the structure and systems or to integrate wellness into the structure and systems.
What I’ve found is that both often occur over the life of a wellness initiative. You see wellness and encouraging wellness while empowering employees is still a new concept. So, once the ball starts rolling down the road of independent thinking and growth within an organization, it can be a scary thing for senior leadership. The control and power may be spread out a bit. I see this as a good thing.
If we’ve been in business long enough we all know that there is red tape and ways of being in place to snuff out and eliminate ideas that those in charge don’t want to accept for whatever reason. In this way the systems within an organization could be suffocated by the systems and structures within an organization. I’ve seen it happen and it makes me sad to see.
What I bring to the table is a passion to help other people. Businesses offer the opportunity to serve many people at one time which is why I choose to serve workers. I’ve experienced freedom to run with ideas and empower others to run with them too. I tell you what, the wave that is created is one that is difficult to stop or slow down, even if systems and structure attempt to because they don’t like the loss of control. I’ve seen our programs contribute to record profits month after month. That’s what happens when wellness is allowed to integrate.
When 10x Traction comes in, if let to run with wellness within an organization and given the freedom to create and motivate others, we will inspire people to work with passion and empower others to share their passion. This creates an environment where individuals work extremely well as a team, cooperate at a high level and share ideas with each other that can make the organization innovative beyond a company’s wildest dreams.
If wellness is suffocated, the benefits that come along with a free flowing program suffocate with any wellness initiative. If wellness is integrated, you better have a plan for controlled growth because the possibilities are endless. I’ve seen it happen and it is a beautiful thing.
