Exercise and Productivity
British research (a study by the University of Bristol) has shown that exercise during the workday improves job performance.
Researchers expected to see improvements in mood. The boosts in productivity were surprising to them.
A few examples of benefits include:
· Time management
· Healthier bodies and minds
· Better cooperation
· Improved mental sharpness
These are just a few examples of ways that exercise during the workday can increase performance leading to an increase in productivity at work.
If you have a gym at work, use it. If you don’t, talk to your employer about helping you pay for a health club membership. You’ll both benefit greatly if you choose to use it!
